Description ~ Owning the Decrease and Knitalong Shawl Project
We are all familiar with using decreases to shape our knitting, and we all know that we like working certain types of decreases and that we dislike others. Have you thought about how you can change the type of decrease to change the overall look of the design? Picture a beautiful lace flower, where it all comes to a point at the tip of the leaf - have you ever wondered how you might have done something differently to make it look more pointy or rounded? Maybe you aren't a fan of P2togtbl, is there something you could do instead that might be easier to work? We will explore not just decreasing, but the art of the stitch and how to bend it to our whimsy.
We will be working an original design in class featuring as many different types of decreases as we can work in, you will have the option to change some of the stitches used based on personal preference.
